The Association for Research on Hyperthermia and Hyperthermic Conditioning (ARHHC) is a U.S.-based, national and international association that connects scholars, researchers, personal trainers, clinicians, and practice leaders in the fields of hyperthermia and hyperthermic conditioning.

Founded in 2015, the ARHHC is a neutral, open forum committed to strengthening the research about and helping shape better practice in these realms. We bring together both theoretical and applied interests, helping both scholars and personal trainers gain greater insight into benefits incident to the integration of hyperthermia and physical conditioning.

The ARHHC is dedicated to increasing the understanding and development of the field of hyperthermic conditioning leading others to a greater understanding of how hyperthermica can enhance fitness and general wellness. The ARHHC is also dedicated to providing personal trainers with the knowledge, science and hands-on experience necessary for the integration of traditional fitness with hyperthermia. As a professional fitness organization, it is also our intention to qualify personal fitness trainers through an assessment of knowledge, skills and abilities that legitimizes and solidifies the Certified Hyperthermic-Fitness Personal Trainer (CHFPT) title and achievement.

As an agency that offers a professional and accredited certification program, we will continue to establish and promote quality standards for fitness professionals, and encourage ongoing professional development through recertification requirements.

Our mission is to be the personal training industry pioneer in the specialty if hyperthermic fitness. Our mission also includes providing fitness trainers with the educational tools and resources needed to develop and enhance performance skills for the safe and effective training of apparently healthy individuals integrating hyperthermia and traditional fitness regimens. Our mission further includes assisting in improving program results by introducing the biological, physical and chemical benefits of thermal therapy for general health and fitness to the traditional fitness club armamentarium. A key goal of our organization is to facilitate rapid dissemination of exciting scientific breakthroughs in hyperthermia in order to expedite the translation of both basic and applied research for the immediate benefit of all fitness club members.

Our organization strives to:
-Promote new discoveries in thermal biology, chemistry, physics/ engineering, and medicine as relates to health, fitness and wellness.

-Sponsor high quality forums for education of fitness professionals in the practice of hyperthermic exercise.

-Advocate for increased health club member access to appropriate, high quality, integrated hyperthermic-fitness activities.

– Provide fitness trainers and clubs with the training, educational tools and resources needed to develop and enhance skills for the safe and effective integration of hyperthermia with traditional fitness regimens for healthy individuals.
